I had been practicing for years before I knew the importance of working up to a peak pose. This yoga challenge seems doable but definitely not easy, so I’m in!

@Regrann from @cyogalab – Announcing November’s #yogachallenge #Yoga4x7!!! This challenge is DIFFERENT than usual because we’ll be working towards 4 peak poses, every Tuesday, taking 7 days to build up to each of them (hence the 4×7, notice the different rim color for Tuesdays?). Each peak pose is purposely, very different from the others, so each week it’ll feel like a mini-challenge in itself (yet to win, you’d still have to complete the whole thing!). Instead of working on one theme, think of this challenge as a ‘sample box’ where we’ll cover a wider variety of asanas in a less amount of days. The idea is to switch it up and go from strengthening to backbends, hip openers, splits, inversions and back, in 28 days. Two VERY good things about this challenge are: 1) it’ll be much less likely you’ll get tired of it (no time!), 2) you’ll be able to ‘take the pulse’ on your practice and determine what it is you need to work on more and where you’re at in each family of poses. As usual:
1️⃣follow @cyogalab
2️⃣ repost this, comment, share, tag them (it’s easier to finish with someone!)
3️⃣ participate and post frequently using the tag #Yoga4x7

Besides a thorough explanation, tips, ideas and alternatives to try, my girls @yogawithaislinn, @rachely.wang and our latest addition, Garry @gmcyoga, will provide with more options, from beginners to intermediate, to help you get there.
Our friends @livesankalpa and us will sponsor with some amazing yoga pants and gear for the winners. Get ready and join in! We start Nov 1st. See you on the mat!!!
