Day 7 of #the12daysofsplitsmas #yogachallenge in Raja Kapotasana or #KingPigeon Pose in the #Ashtanga third series. In the #video ( ➡️ swipe ➡️I hope to show that the strength in this #backbend actually comes from the upper spine, not the lower region. As you inhale you can slowly bring your chest higher, creating length in the spinal column, therefore deepening the bend. As with all positions in #asana it is SO important to be present in YOUR moment. ☺️‍♀️
