Richness, peace and joy are gifts that are attained when one works on focusing and calming the mind. While it may not seem easy to accomplish, particularly in an exceptionally chaotic environment, it is indeed possible.
The mind is separated from who we really are – the Soul, Being, presence. The mind can be dominated by circumstances we at times feel that are beyond our control. When these destructive thoughts are “shut off” however, there emerges an awareness that cannot be ignored.
Silencing the mind through practices such as meditation, yoga and prayer allows one to bond with one’s deeper sense of self, subsiding the stress caused by the thoughts of the chaotic mind.
To do this it is important to set onseself free of the past, and the damage upon which one achieves a certain feeling of anguish which traps one in this past. Just as important is to dismiss the “what’s to come,” the desires and fears and to live solely for the present, which is the stage of one’s existence.
It is in this state of stillness that one can attain the purest form of joy and center the subconscious to set an objective for one’s triumph….AND freedom.
