After hearing about the vast devastation hurricane Sandy bestowed upon the Northeast, I scrambled for ways to help on a worldwide scale. Family members on Long Island went almost a week without power, while two friends lost their homes to fires in Breezy Point. This was all too familiar. Back in 2005 Hurricane Wilma ripped through the shores of South Florida and left my family without power for five days.
I tossed and turned the other night, wondering what I could do. Then it came to me – my co-authored book, “Pursuing Your Destiny” was created to help and inspire readers to overcome any form adversity, regardless of how big or small.
